Get Ready!

What's been going on?

It seems like it's been too long since we've last written to you guys. While that's nothing new, we have been going through a lot of changes, have a new lineup for our shows, and are prepared to rip your faces off with some sick new tunes! So, without further ado, let's catch up.

On June 29th, Fatal Malady said goodbye to one of our guitarists, Mike Parkhurst. He brought a style to the group that will not be forgotten, and he will be missed. You can check out some clips from that show here. We wish him all the best, and we haven't let that slow us down. So, for the past few months, Fatal Malady has been training day and night in the Fatal dojo with our newest guitarist Brent Blair. While you may not recognize the name yet, it's one that you will not soon forget, as he has brought his impeccable skills to the front that you will not want to miss. This is also exciting, as soon he will be playing in his first full fledged show with us at the Marquee Theater on October 19th.

As always, we haven't stopped rocking. We most recently had the honor to play for our good friend, Matt Berger, when he had a birthday at Alice Cooperstown, in downtown Phoenix. That was a show to remember for everyone involved, as we had the amazing opportunity to share the stage with Phoenix's very own Chemicals of Democracy before they left the country on tour!

What's next?

October 19

Be prepared for some amazing shows, because we didn't stop there! Family, friends, and devoted members of the Skeleton Death Squad, the time has come to rock the big stages! Fatal Malady is proud to announce that we will be blazing the stage this October 19th at the legendary Marquee Theater! We'll be taking the stage earlier than usual (7:40pm), but that's no excuse for us not to tear it apart, or for you not to be there rooting us on! You can check out our Official Site to purchase your tickets for this event today!

November 2

The time has come upon us, yet again! Fatal Malady is happy to say that we will be taking it to the top, as we are once again a part of the 2013 Project Independent! It is staged to be held at Joe's Grotto, and is set to be more of a monster event than ever before. Be sure to visit our Official Site to get your tickets to this show to be able to cheer us on as we once again play for all of the title, glory, cash, and honor that Project Independent has come to be known for. Tickets are available from your friendly Fatal Malady members, and will be available to purchase on our Official Site shortly.

November 16

Following our Project Independent showcase, we will be heading out to the east valley, where we have the honor to take a part in the reopening of the Arizona Event Center with our friends in Two Dollar Grey. It's sure to be an electric night as more awesome bands are being billed to the event as we speak. Prepare to have your faces ripped from your skulls Arizona!

That's all for now friends. Again, I apologize for the gaps in getting with you all, but you can look forward to more regular updates and blogs as we constantly attempt to get this machine pumping on all cylinders. Now it's your turn. What was the last Fatal Malady event you were at? Have any pictures from it? Maybe you'd like to leave a comment below to tell us what you'd like to see or hear at our next show? Leave all of your links and comments below, or you can jump on over to our ReverbNation or our Official Site to leave them there as well. We love hearing from you guys! Until next time.

Fatal Malady

Fatal Malady is a hard rock band from Phoenix, Arizona with sound garnered in the roots of Megadeth, Godsmack, Korn, and other similar bands, is truly making a name for themselves on the Phoenix music scene. Breaking away from todays standard of rock/metal, or "numetal", Fatal Malady's style of heavy rhythms, powerful anthems, and in your face rock is a refreshing and much welcomed return to the sound of rock and roll. Listening to their songs on Reverb Nation, especially their hit, Resting Place, is a treat to the ears, but nothing compared to their live shows.

Playing venues, such as Joe's Grotto, and Donna Jean's Libations, Fatal Malady brings an ample supply of energy and excitement with their performance that the audience can feel in their chest. These are the beginnings that lead to a following that Fatal Malady has certainly earned, while also gaining a reputation of bringing their top game, no matter when or where the show might be!

Be sure to visit Fatal Malady's facebook page, here, and also check them out here at Reverb Nation to learn about their upcoming shows! You can also click here to join their mailing list!
